Kristen Stone-Mulhern, MDDr. Stone-Mulhern

Kristen Stone-Mulhern graduated from Villanova University in 1995 with a B.S. in Biology.  She then returned to Chicago to attend Loyola Stritch School of Medicine where she received her medical degree in 1999.  She remained at Loyola for her residency in Ob/Gyn.  During her time there, she received the Wyeth Resident Reporter to ACOG Award in 2002, as well as the Pfizer Ob/Gyn Resident Scholar Award.  She also served on the Advisory Board of Bioethics.


Dr. Stone-Mulhern is board certified by the American Board of Ob/Gyn.  She has been an active member of the Central Association of ACOG, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.  She is an active member of the Ob/Gyn Quality Assurance Committee at Northwest Community Hospital.  She has special interests in preventing and detecting gynecologic malignancies, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, and high-risk obstetrics.

Dr. Stone-Mulhern is married to Thomas Mulhern Jr., a fireman for the city of Chicago.  They reside on the Northwest side of the city with their three children, Kailen, Mark and Grant.  She enjoys travel and water sports.
